My boss (I work as a nanny) went into emergency surgery today cus a drill bit went into her leg while she was putting up a shelf, so she asked me to take the kids and go grocery shopping, go on the field trip with the little girl, and make dinner for the family.
I loved it. I am ridiculously exhausted, but I love making a pot roast and the apple crisp and going to the apple orchard. I even made homemade hummus with red peppers for the little girl's lunch.
